And what's so ironic, is that the republicans keep touting these tax cuts as being the elixir for boosting the economy, when it really doesn't, IMHO. It gets parked into a 1%er's massive savings like the other money they have hogged, and the tax savings/money doesn't see the light of day, unless it's to buy up yet another asset for them to park yet more of their savings somewhere (and not in our pockets). In short, the velocity of money slows down massively.
Doesn't anyone in the repug camp know anything about Economics? I went and got two economic degrees while in college and this is basic science. Tax cuts also doesn't get into government hands where it's spent either (e.g. roads, infrastructure, you name it). If you want to stimulate the Economy, stimulate it by spreading it among many different hands, where's it is more likely to be spent, and not hoarded. Build more infrastructure.
It's kind of like a black hole, where the money that the 1%ers have just sits there and doesn't stimulate the economy as much.
