I've seen documentaries about them and it's almost a miracle how just feeding several ounces of high-calorie peanut butter mixed with what amounts to a children's vitamin supplement regularly to a starving child is enough to transform them from dying skeletons into healthy babies. One packet of the paste (which is about the size of a candy bar) provides 500 calories.
