It seems that the audited figures don't lie along with supporting documentation. Audited, to me, means there are documented standards to follow. This story smacks of something setup and administered by political hacks. From my experience, political hacks (appointees), can't manage anything. What did the business model look like?

These guys were entrusted with public funds?

This is the classic cliche, figures don't lie, but liars can figure.

Better watch out, Scotty might try to change the audit group. That will be a real red flag.

Did I say I wouldn't trust him.
