Costco will be closing all of its U.S. stores for one day this month.

12. I went to Costco this morning ..

They opened the doors at 9:50 AM (10 minutes early). I picked up a few items on the list and was the first person through one of the cashier lines.

Here's the kicker: I walked out of the front door at 10:10 AM, and the parking lot was already 90% full. It is like that almost every day. There have been rumors of a second Costco location in the area (Greenville, SC), but nothing yet.

BTW: I went to Costco to buy items that would have been much easier to buy on Amazon. But Bezos and Amazon are 86'd to us.
