that after the seizures at Mar-a-lago, there was a lot of chatter about whether classified docs were being stored at Bedminister and I'm thinking it was possible it WAS checked out (quietly) and that put some paranoia in them about going back there too frequently for "important" stuff.

The other thing is that he no longer has that lease with the Old Post Office in D.C. (supposedly "sold" it in 2022 - although I don't know how you "sell" a GSA lease... but whatever), and that is where he "conducted business" that first term.
