The Supreme Court, "packed" since Bush appointed John Roberts as Chief Justice, has continued Republican oligarchs' scheme.
John Roberts is, long term, a Republican hack.
Those of us with long memory know what he did in 2000.
Because of Roberts and the Republican Party, we eventually got Trump.
As of 2024, out of the court's 800 rulings, Roberts voted conservative 82.7% of the time, second only to Alito.
As 538 puts it, he’s made five liberal rulings. THAT’S IT.

the list of Roberts’s liberal “swings” drops to five cases. Five liberal-leaning decisions where Roberts joined his liberal colleagues and actually changed the outcome by doing so.”
As John Roberts strengthens corporate control of this government, John Roberts has made the SCOTUS their tool.
John Roberts has helped his Republican Party clear away all impediments to unrestrained corporate participation in electoral politics.
He has allowed the corporate “right to lie.” in the Nike v California case. Look it up.
Roberts has been no friend to average working Americans. If anything, he has been the most radical judicial right wing activist appointed to the Court in more than a century.
He’d worked most of his life in the interest of the rich and powerful, and chomped at the bit for a chance to turn more of America over to his corporate friends. See

The Roberts Court voted for the Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission, using its five-vote majority to totally rewrite the face of politics in America, rolling us paycheck Americans back to the pre-1907 Era of the Robber Barons.
Since Bush rewarded John Roberts for helping win his presidency, Roberts has served the Republican end of selling out rule of law to corporations that front for robber baron oligarchs -- to capture this government.
