This is put out by the Zwemer Center for Islamic Studies.

It discusses what can or can't be done with Sharia law in the US.
It looks to be used mostly for family disputes. Anytime the Law doesn't
follow US laws the US law takes precident.

The GOP rep is just using scare talking points to avoid his incompetence
and lack of doing what would help actual constituents.
