He immigrated here from that "shit hole" country of Nigeria. But he is one of the Nigerian Christians (who live in the south of Nigeria, where the Muslims are mostly in the north), and was very devoted to it.

Remember that much of what 45's administration does is for white supremacy and the election of this mayor suggests that the city is not as "deep red" as it used to be.
