with 70 votes vs a nominee being confirmed with 90 votes is irrelevant. They are all confirmed and have the exact same amount of power no matter how many votes they got. Rubio was confirmed by unanimous consent. Would he be any better if all Democrats had voted against him? Of course not. He's terrible regardless. Democratic votes did not help the Republicans at all. He was going to be confirmed regardless.
