15. The Schumer compromise proposal to continue Obamacare subsidies for a year

seemed extremely reasonable to me--- while many on the left called it a "cave-in",
but Senate Majority Leader Thune immediately rejected it out of hand.

Republican leaders won't even talk with Democratic leaders.
Trump's "Art of the Deal" was always a complete sham, as he now demonstrates.

There IS no possible compromise with Republicans which doesn't include
at LEAST another year of breathing room on health insurance costs for the American people!
