10. This may sound strange, but I think I would be more comfortable if the files remained with the CIA at least for now.

This is because CIA people are loyal to their organization, which is at it's heart an information agency, and can probably be trusted to keep the files in there original complete form. Having said that, I would not be surprised to find that the CIA, or some of it's agents, was involved in the assassination. Now with the files in the hands of Trump minions I fear they could be tainted for political reasons.
