In reply to the discussion: Trump plans nationwide tour to defend his policies as voters revolt over cost of living [View all]Ol Janx Spirit
(529 posts)78. The "They're Eating the Dogs! They're Eating the Cats!" tour of 2026 will be a real barnburner.
What does the orange racist Grump-pa really have to offer these days for a "message"?
What will be any different than what he says from the Oval every day?
This sounds like a much better opportunity for massive "No Kings" protests than to rally the already-faithful.
Unless--of course--participation becomes mandatory; corporate sponsors are required to set up booths and give away free swag; cities and states are threatened with economic punishment if they do not turn out "crowds like nobody ever thought was possible."
Would we put this past Spray Tan Satan?

Maybe the strain of travel will kill him. That would be so terrible or something.

He can't defend his policies or deny their failures, he'll just have to blame it all on someone else.
