Of the latter, those who were friendly and had something going for them (maybe they were funny or did things for others or were self-effacing--whatever)--many other kids would rise to defend, and the bullies would move on. But the dorky kids who tried to "become one" with the bullies--oh, my what a mistake. And that is exactly what dorky Vance is doing.

I think he comes across this way to a lot of MAGA, too, so hopefully it will hurt him in the end.
