I found the Publix in Key West to be superior to the Albertson's and it's an employee owned company.
The employees, either through direct equity accounts or a 401k/a own a third of the company.
They have 3 seats on the BOD. Yeah, the family owns 20% but they don't control the board.
Dastardly was a word i didn't expect to see describe that outfit.
