As for the nonsense about bureaucracy and government overreach, the Republican super majority-Indiana General Assembly is famously known for three things: Corruption, Incompetence and government overreach (as in passing laws forbidding local governments from raising the minimum wage or outlawing plastic bags, and abolishing at-large seats on the Indianapolis City-County Council in a failed bid to keep that body under Republican control).
