A federal employee’s retirement package is reviewed and validated by the agency Human Resources department before being forwarded to OPM. It has taken, recently, between 60 and 90 days to begin payments from OPM AFTER the package is sent there.

Thus tells me her agency, the IRS, let go all their HR retirement people, if her package submitted in April still has not left her agency by December. It’s going to be months before she should count on anything.

Just one more evidence of total mismanagement by Trump admin.
