That is probably the biggest thing going on in TX. They may have been there generations and think they are "assimilated" but the supremacist will never consider them "assimilated". Ironically some of the loudest ones like that even join supremacists and spout supremacist ideology (like Enrico Tarrio and Nick Fuentes), but don't understand the concept of the white supremacist's core concept and belief of "racial purity" (and that even applies to many southern Europeans like Greeks and Italians/Sicilians, and even Spaniards and Portuguese, who have always been discriminated against by the ethnic northern European-descended "purists" ).

The advent of DNA testing for genealogical purposes helped to blow a lot of this apart though, as supremacy spouters suddenly discovered their REAL genetic make-up and they weren't what they envisioned themselves as being.
