11. That was the "print more money" era

and is sort of mirroring what is happening now - at least with the prices of commodities like gold and silver (I was in college back then gathering silver/gold to cash in )

But it's a bit different today (they are not printing more money), and is being handled differently, where the interest rates are relatively "low" now compared to back then. But the dollar has been falling over the decades in any case, which is factoring in.
