78. Socialism in Venezuela has a long history

So, not communism. Communism is not a popular economic system in Venezuela. But socialism does have a foothold.

You know who I don't trust? The media when they speak or write about Venezuela. They all repeat the same talking points. They all talk to the same Venezuelans who are pining away for the good old days when oil corporation took all the wealth from the oil fields and ran the Venezuelan government, where they treated Venezuelans, especially the indigenous people, like slaves.

It's like here in the US. Every media outlet was going on and on about Biden being old. But somehow pedo Trump's psychotic dementia was ignored constantly. The media all repeats itself with the same stories and no one questions it. Why are they so busy busting Maduro's chops when the Saudis rule like dictators and cutting off people's hands is a common practice?

You know who else is a dictator who regained power by election theft? Pedo Trump. Maduro is much better than pedo Trump ever was. At least he doesn't rape 12 year old girls or invade foreign countries.
