Do to deaths and a resignation. And another Republican was in a serious car accident and is in the hospital and he is 80 yrs old, so there are doubts he will be working anytime soon , if at all, so that puts them at 216 for right now.
With only 10 months until the midterms it seems unlikely to change much in that time

He survived impeachment twice, the senate will still never remove him, and he even got elected somehow after.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if the midterms also gave the Democrats a 2/3's majority in the Senate so it even f'ing matters

Impeachment would not mean removal. I think reaching the 2/3rds mark in the Senate is unlikely.
