Getting EU farmers on board was the big hurdle, especially in France and Italy where the agricultural sector can literally shut down the country.

All of the parties realize that they have to strengthen ties outside of US control. This is a big FU to Trump and it is absolutely another nail in the coffin of US independent agriculture and rural America.
