11. If they told me to do that in my 1st grade classroom

I would hide the list behind backpacks in the cloakroom, just in case the school board came for an unexpected visit and wanted to see their BS referendum in full display. I've did this a lot when I was teaching and my district said teachers need to do blah, blah, blah.

I am a rebel and like to stir the pot it seems. If I were told to post the 10 commandments I would show my class the film scene from History of the World Part 1 when Mel Brooks as Moses had 15 commandments but dropped a tablet and that's why there are 10 and not 15.

I taught during the Bush years and I put his picture behind the classroom microwave and on "Presidents' Day his name was NEVER mentioned by me. My students didn't have a clue.
