If ICE were truly interested in rounding up migrants who are in the country illegally—those who have not applied for asylum or are convicted criminals—they would be in states like Texas with millions more undocumented than in Minnesota or Maine. Their actions are not about migrants, they’re solely about attacking Democratic cities in states that did not vote for Trump.
