I’m thinking the best our athletes can hope for is tepid applause or even silence when they walk in during the opening ceremony, but they might get booed. It wouldn’t be fair to the individuals that have worked so hard to get there, but that is the reality of how much the Toddler in Chief has damaged our standing in the world.
