HarperCollins UK retracts 'unverified' Melania-Epstein connection claims from new book

WASHINGTON (TNND) — Harpers Collins UK is retracting passages from a recently published book which peddles "unverified" claims that First Lady Melania Trump met her husband Donald Trump through disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, who killed himself while awaiting trial in 2019.

"HarperCollins UK recently published a book by Andrew Lownie titled ‘Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York.’ We have, in consultation with the author, removed passages of the book that referenced unverified claims about the First Lady of the United States Melania Trump," HarperCollins UK said in a statement posted on X on Tuesday.
