*After* the 2018 Miami Herald article, when it finally became publicly known the extent of his crimes?

I don't care if I'd known him since 2nd grade and he was the best man or maid of honor at my wedding, I would never have said another kind word to that mofo. And people who did, outside of certain journalists working on a story, deserve without question to be called out with great disdain. Especially if they were working to rehab his reputation *cough* Steve Bannon *cough*

This particular exchange really brings home the idea that the uber-rich just do not consider themselves to be subject to the laws (or indeed, in the cases of at least some, even the basic fundamentals of morality) that the common people are subject to. They are their own group, who make their own rules, and those seem to be "we do what we want".
