Yesterday

Because like others who came after him, he refused to carry out clearly illegal and criminal orders. And using the excuse of him screwing Hillary with butter emails and a laptop, gave him perfect cover to make the firing appear "legit".

As others have noted, the "favors" are usually only 1-way.
