9. First thing I thought of when I read the headline . . .

I understand the desire to lower prices, but I just paid $6.29 in California. Eighteen cents off that price isn't going to make much difference in my life, especially when the trade off will be more extensive car repairs due to poorly maintained roads.

Stop the damn war seems a more reliable way to eventually get lower fuel prices.
