Joe Ceballos already took the plea deal. His community packed the courtroom. The judge gave him a slap on the wrist. And then ICE came anyway. The former Mayor of Coldwater, Kansas — a green card holder who voted for Trump — is now sitting in a detention cell, waiting to be deported to a country he hasn't seen since he was a child.

And he still doesn't regret his vote. This is the FAFO story of 2026.
