Rep. Chris Deluzio (D-Pa.) has serious issues with the Trump administration’s strategy – or lack thereof – in the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran.
In a Sunday interview on “Scott MacFarlane Reports,” Deluzio was asked what he’s been hearing from Trump officials about the war.
“I think the military has been put in this position – and they are doing tactically what they’re being asked to do. The Trump administration, though, the strategic part of this? They’re floundering,” he said. “They are trying to get back to a situation that looks like it’s going to be worse than it was before they started the war, to just get the Strait of Hormuz moving again and open.”
Deluzio said the war “looks to be a major blunder,” and blasted the high costs Americans are paying for it. “The cost, as you know, we’re talking billions of dollars, American lives, energy markets are really destabilized and more,” he said.
