Ok, I was talking about GROUND-HOGS, or American Nazis, or Republicans or something........




I shot a big ground-hog in the ass with a pellet-gun today--
he made a rather comical JUMP before running into one of his holes....

That was my second missed chance of MURDERING one of them
with a 20-guage shotgun round this year---
I'd rather try to dissuade them this year, than murder them--
especially since most of what they used to eat,
I have failed to grow from seed this year....


The most puzzling scene I have witnessed this spring, is a groundhog stretching up
to try to eat the RADISH flowers, of the radishes which are trying to seed now---several times...

(I don't begrudge them the radish flowers, or the radishes at this point,
but that is a NEW CURIOSITY!(

some of them have strange tastes!--
(and chewing down some of those radish flowers,
right next to the huge stand of CHIVES which they supposedly
would be repelled by the smell of ?)
