12. "fledgling agreement"?? Shouldn't that be DOA agreement?

What kind of idiot negotiators make commitments on behalf of entities that are not party to the agreement??

Like promising to make frozen assets available when the U.S. cannot dictate the disposition of assets frozen under sanctions by UN, EU, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, and whoever else I'm not aware of. And of course, there is also the fact chunks of those assets are held by China, Iraq, India, Luxembourg, and undoubtedly others that don't get mentioned.

And why would Iran accept whatever assurances were offered about bringing Israel to heal?

It's almost like both the U.S. and Iran wanted to be able to announce an agreement they knew would fall apart.

The key aspect that made the JCPOA powerful was the fact that it was a multilateral agreement that included the UK, France, Russia, China, and Germany individually, and the European Union as a whole. Of course, the felon is utterly incapable of partnering with anyone on this and is so deluded with fantasies of his own power that it doesn't even occur to him to work with others.

The only part of this deal that is guaranteed to be put in place is the reinvestment fund. I have no doubt the legal framework for it will be put in place rapidly. And, like the massively corrupt board of peace, it will be exclusively under private control with no oversight authority by the UN, or anybody else. The only thing we can be absolutely sure of is that the most corrupt president in American history is already making plans to line the pockets of various family businesses, cronies, and other parties to the corrupt consortium.
