9. Yet another indication that MAGA miscalculated how bloodthirsty and cruel the American people are.

The swagger of ruthlessness that the Administration came into office with--thinking America really hates people as much as we do and wants to see the cruelty we promised during the campaign carried out--has been replaced piece by piece with less--but not zero by any stretch--cruelty.

It turns out America was not clamoring for protesters to be shot in the street; for all the brown people to be rounded up and sent to makeshift unaccountable prisons; for people to be subjected to alligator attack if they dared to try and escape the hell that had been created for them just for the pleasure of the sick people in the Administration. No, America really did just want cheaper eggs.

We can take some solace in this turn towards the light and away from the darkness. Even when they turned their evil gaze towards traditional foreign foes America said, 'no, we really don't support this.'

Cruelty and destruction is all they ever really had. So what will they do now that America's patience is wearing thin?
