All the self-defeating rationalizations for refusing to take a stand and fight when morality, conscience, and the good of the nation demands it still echo though DC Democrat offices.

Can't win, don't fight still keeps too many silent on making the case for universal healthcare.

Fear of "backlash" from the right keeps them from going "big."

And the latest is "We shouldn't talk about the corruption (or defend LGBTQ, or condemn the naked racism, or... whatever critical thing they refuse talk about with the level of repetition needed to get through), we'll alienate voters we can win. Just focus on kitchen table issues."

They are wrong, and have always been wrong. The only way to break through insider groupthink is for outsiders (i.e., us) is to get in the faces of those failing us. Call. Contact the scheduler to set up a meeting with staff. Get a group together if you can. Don't just go to "be heard." Ask pointed questions that expose the stupidity and shameful abdication of principle. If they evade, follow up. Tell others about the meeting and have them follow up. Point them to things like the freedom over fascism toolkit for the effective messaging we want to see.
