(70,055 posts)22. I've been on the Mall in the summer.
When I was much younger and more resilient and I've never been tempted to go back there in July.
And winter in DC is not great either.
Basically the town is built on a swamp, so it's hot and humid or cold and wet most of the year. It's very nice in the fall.
