If there are problems with leakage, settling of concrete slabs and expansion joints then get some actual experts to come up with possible solutions.

Screw the asinine coating. I don't see how any coating could solve anything.

But then again, I don't know a thing about it. Still, it seems to me there may have been advancements in construction or materials for more flexible expansion joints or some damn thing.
