I’ve seen a sports bar do the same.

On the whole, this is totally on-brand for today’s Republican party: using and taking anything less than more than what you actually need is communism. Making sure there’s enough of anything left for your neighbors is communism.

I can also tie this to the ever increasing size of vehicles, particularly trucks. (I just read a NYT thing about this and traffic fatalities).

I think we should start aggressively framing them as “hogs.” No offense to actual pigs but, flip the script. Be blunt with it. And bring back “weird” while we’re at it.
