"the mental health 'problem'". Bullshit. That's a cop out. It isnt a crime to be mentally ill in this country either, and while many people do need help, who are you to say anyone should be treated as second class.

how about all of us soldiers returning home? we are high risk for self destructive and dangerous behavior. lets put us all in the database too! anything and everything except acknowledging the truth: americans have an obsession with guns. And americans think that gun ownership makes them manly and tough.

You are correct, that the newtown maniac had legally owned and purchased firearms. They were not his. This manaic got his hands on them because the gun owning culture does not have the negative peer pressure of leaving weapons -secured- when they are not in direct control of the registered owner. Because his mother did not store them in a vault.

the PROBLEM is that assault rifles are everywhere. Everywhere. and almost anybody can get them
