148. Please do not characterize my POV as "hatred." Would you like it if I characterized your POV as

"blind, slobbering adoration" or "lockstep loyalty?" I don't do that because that's getting personal, ascribing motives not in evidence, and it's rude.

See how that works? There's no need to get personal and shitty. Your little dig reflects more on you than me. And on that score, no, we're not very much alike at all, I'd say. I can have an adult conversation, replete with differences, without characterizing your motives in a petty and childish fashion.

I don't "hate" the man, I simply think he is an opportunist and a sell-out. It takes caring to hate, and anyone who would flush their reputation, such as it is, for a Murdoch paycheck has enough personal problems without my emotional input. I'd also venture to say that if becoming "more of a Democrat" means taking a check from an agency that never let the truth get in the way of a good story, a place that prioritizes low cut blouses and a bimbo culture over facts and analysis, well, I'd prefer to not be "more" of that kind of a Democrat. That crew, let's remember, calls the Quisling Dick Morris one of their "Democrats" as well.
