He is not Allan Colmes. He is not one to acquiesce to the punching bag role for anyone. One of the problems in the current range of discussion is that the mainstream media represents Obama as the farthest left anyone can even imagine. The is neither good for the Obama agenda or for the progressive agenda. When Bernie Sanders appears on FOX News - I would say he gets a fair degree of respect and apparently lots and lots of fan mail from ordinary Fox News viewers who discover that they actually agree with him on a lot of issues. I think Dennis may very well be the same.

There are many conservative who will respect an unabashed and unapologetic liberal or progressive a lot more than a weak knee somewhat center left - watered down liberal apologist.

I think Dennis will do very well for the cause. But let's wait and see.
