Lots of people don't even know what the labels mean, Andy"liberal" has been turned into a dirty word. The only valid survey asks people what they believe. I suspect that the rankings wouldn't change much, but lots of surveys show Americans are fairly liberal on a lot of issues. For example, gay marriage approval is over 50%. (Please don't ask me for a link! I'm still drinking my coffee!)
