第一, you would never do anything that threatens US National Security. . .now, that statement would work here in China because people here are naive and gullible, but now you are playing by our rules in our country.
PROVE you won't! You are 共产党. Your interests are in the hegemony of 共产党. Your beliefs are in the ability of 共产党 to make itself more money and power. We're just supposed to accept what you say because you said it.
第二, if you won't do anything, sign a western style contract. Not the flowery worded contracts that say nothing here in China that are worthless, but a real contract with clauses, penalties and conditions. Since all contracts are heavy handed and tilted to support the Chinese side here in China, we reserve the right, as Americans in our country, to do the same for you. If you do not sign the contract "as is," you lose everything.
第三, and I will use your culture against you. . .breaking a contract is a loss of face, son! 面子 means honesty, according do 孔子, you know him. . .that guy whose thinking and philosophy your culture and society based itself upon. Remember him. . .in 南京, there is a temple called 夫子庙 that honors him near 新街口.
第四, you and businesses in your country, have a domestic (here in China) and international reputation of being backstabbing, two-faced liars. Hell, that stupid 钓鱼岛 crap with Japan only started in 1970 because 毛泽东 was told there is oil there. So, before 1970, 中华人民共和国 didn't care about 钓鱼岛. Now you do and claim, because of maps 1000 years ago, they are China.
Basically, 吴佳亮， prove you will do nothing to compromise national security, will abide by our laws (since most 共产党 members break their laws all the time because of their 关系
and can accept punishment without running to the skirt of 习近平 when the big, bad American government tells you to take a flying leap because you know, in your heart, contracts are made to be stretched and broken. It happens all the time here in China.
