This used to be a storage facility for chemical weapons but as far as I know, all munitions have been destroyed and the depot is slated for closure by 2015. And there is a bank of wind generators just to the west of the facility. In a way, it's good to see China caring about wind energy - look at statistics, China is now the world's leader in wind and renewable energy. Still, I would be very concerned about letting Chinese companies invest near U.S. military facilities given the fact that the recent hacking attacks have been traced to the Chinese military.
