of Detroit should reject him and dare the Governor to do something about it. They do not have to go along with the Governor. The citizens of Detroit need to stand up for their rights period. It should be up to them. The Governor is no King either. The City of Detroit has elected officials also and they should govern themselves. They should hold a special meeting and hear from the citizens of Detroit. I think they should hold a referendum, and if the citizens of Detroit do not agree with the the tyranny of the Governor, they should send him a message. I would certainly dare this Governor to act. The police forces of Detroit is supposed to be controled by the City of Detroit. They have it within their power to confront him. He maybe in charge of the State police, but he is not in charge of the municipal police. Then you would have the Federal Government move in, and make the decision. I think the Governor is wrong and will lose if it came to that confrontation.
