This is a serious question that needs to be answered by Republicans: Once Romney started doing leveraged buyouts, is there one company Bain got its hands on that was better off after they were done with it? And don't mention Staples because Staples wasn't an LBO, it was Venture Capital funding.

Romney's method of turning around businesses won't work with Detroit (come to think of it, it doesn't work very well on businesses) for a couple of reasons, chief among them there's nothing to sell and everyone who could possibly be fired already has been.
