retired fold understand how hard it was to wait until 65. I lost my job before 60 (no one in IT wants to hire an old woman), had to pay for my own insurance, but I was one of the few among my friends who could afford it. I was hoping that most of them would make it to medicare age. I have to call someone now, they just had their first check up in 10 years.
