Some of the people who "reported" on the leaks were very good friends with insiders there. Current was the first to start leaking the snark. It is not difficult when suddenly a reporter gets some little-known information to track his or her historical friendships. I did this at the time and it was not difficult to figure out who was doing the leaking.

Current made bad decisions, particularly Hyatt on labor issues (you should read up on his background before you start criticizing Keith Olbermann because there is absolutely NOTHING in Olbermann's background that compares with Hyatt's, it is that bad, that offensive). And the fact remains their numbers went down severely once they fired Olbermann. They never recovered from that and their advertising dollars sank too.

So I guess we will just see this differently. That is okay.
