Is he an ultra-Left Liberal? No. He wouldn't have won the presidency if that were the case, would he? Dennis Kucinich would've been president in 2009.
Taking a stand on either side without bending will result in a lame-duck term. As I've said in my previous post, nothing will get done. Nothing. I don't believe that's what he wants, and were you in his shoes, I'm pretty damn sure it's not what you would want, either.
Our only hope to move this country forward was crushed last January when the Dem elites in the Senate refused to reform the filibuster rule - again. Now we're looking at more paralysis in our government, and we can thank Reid and the Democrats for that, although I'm acutely aware that the blame should rightfully be placed on Turtleman's head and his band of do-nothing TeaBaggers. But Reid and Senate Democrats KNEW this and did nothing to stop it.
I just wished more on Left understood this and would place the blame rightfully where it belongs - Congress. It appears, by the angry "I hate Obama" posts on this site, that they don't.
