I do not think that Chavez ordered a hit on Capriles but the way the assassination attempt was handled left a lot to be desired. Berroterán Alexander walked free. This language by the homophobic bigot Maduro could be construed as a call to arms to other chavistas like Berroterán Alexander. They know that if they kill Capriles then the state can use this "we said it was going to happen" excuse. The people arrested, if any, would of course be easily tied somehow to right wing groups in the US.
