(27,605 posts)108. Yes, I found this out a while ago and discontinued my generous support.
I also sent them a letter at the time telling them why, 1. As she was a financial supporter of GWB and the GOP, I could no longer support her organization, 2. I felt the whole "pink" thing was getting completely out of hand with trade marking on everything. This was a difficult decision for me as I had lost family members to Breast Cancer. But, in the end I could not support an organization whose Chairperson had such deep roots in a political party that had such opposing views and beliefs to my own.
